Easy Origami Phone Receiver
What do you think of when you hear the word phone receiver? With cell phones taking over landlines, you may not even have one of these in your home. Anyway, this is a fairly simple origami and when you're done, you can pick up your phone receiver and say "Can you hear me now?" ;)

Easy Origami Phone Receiver Step 1: Start with a 6 inch x 6 inch (15cm x 15cm) square origami paper, color side down.
Fold paper in half. Crease well and unfold.
Easy Origami Phone Receiver Step 2: Fold both sides to the center.
Easy Origami Phone Receiver Step 3: Make 4 diagonal folds, folding both the top and bottom corners to the center. Crease well and unfold.
Easy Origami Phone Receiver Step 4: Fold paper in half on the horizontal axis. Crease well and unfold.
Easy Origami Phone Receiver Step 5: Fold both the top and bottom halves to meet in the center. Crease well and unfold.
Easy Origami Phone Receiver Step 6: Pry paper open at the top. Make a squash fold by pressing the paper flat to form a diamond shape.
Easy Origami Phone Receiver Step 7: Repeat Step 6 for the bottom.
Easy Origami Phone Receiver Step 8: Flip paper over.
Fold both sides to the center.
Easy Origami Phone Receiver Step 9: Flip paper over.
Now pry the paper open in opposite directions. Straighten the sides.
