Origami Modular Spiky Crown Step 1: Start with a 6 inch x 6 inch ((15cm x 15 cm) square paper, color side down.
Sturdier paper like cardstock or scrapbook paper is better for this origami if you intend to wear the crown.
Fold paper in half on the vertical diagonal axis. Crease well and unfold.
Origami Modular Spiky Crown Step 2: Fold both sides to the center. Crease well.
Origami Modular Spiky Crown Step 3: Fold up the bottom tip.
Origami Modular Spiky Crown Step 4: Make a valley fold by folding down the tip.
Origami Modular Spiky Crown Step 5: Now we make another horizontal valley fold.
Origami Modular Spiky Crown Step 6: Fold paper in half on the vertical axis. Crease well and unfold.
This completes one unit. You need about 9 to 10 units for an adult and less for kids. With 9 units, the diameter of the spiky crown is just over 6 inches (~16cm)
