Origami Octopus Instructions

The Origami Octopus is a neat design. It starts with an Origami Frog Base.

Step 1: Fold the top left flap of the frog base over to the right. Repeat on the backside of the model.

Step 2: Fold the top right and left edges to the center as shown. Repeat 3 more times.

Step 3: Fold the bottom point of the top layer upwards. Repeat 3 more times.

Step 4: Fold the four (4) top points down to the horizontal as shown.

Step 5: Cut along each leg lengthwise as shown.

Step 6: For each of the four (4) pairs of legs, valley fold them up an away from each other.

Step 7: Curl the legs with your fingers as shown. The exact curve is not critical, just make sure they're not straight.

Step 8: Blow sharply into the open hole at the bottom of the octopus' head. A couple short blows will inflate the head.

Now your Origami Octopus is done!
