Origami Pinwheel Base
Here are the instructions for the origami pinwheel base.
Origami Pinwheel Base Step 1: Start with a 6 inch x 6 inch (15cm x 15cm) square origami paper, color side down.
Fold paper in half on both the diagonal axis. Crease well and unfold.
Origami Pinwheel Base Step 2: Fold paper in half on both the vertical and horizontal axis. Crease well and unfold.
Origami Pinwheel Base Step 3: Fold the left and right sides to meet in the center.
Origami Pinwheel Base Step 4: Fold the top and bottom halves to meet in the center.
Origami Pinwheel Base Step 5: Unfold Step 4 on the top half.
Origami Pinwheel Base Step 6: Make 2 diagonal folds as indicated.
Origami Pinwheel Base Step 7: Bring the top down and press paper flat.
Origami Pinwheel Base Step 8: Rotate paper 180 degrees and repeat Steps 5 to 7 on the remaining half.
Origami Pinwheel Base Step 9: Make the 2 diagonal folds as indicated below.
and your origami pinwheel base is complete!
Alternatively for Step 9, you could fold the other 2 quadrants....
and have a clock-wise origami pinwheel base.
