Easy Origami Rose Folding Instructions
If you're just starting out, try this easy origami rose first. You can then "graduate" to the harder and more realistic version of the origami rose. As you may know, different rose colors convey different messages.

Easy Origami Rose Step 1: Start with a square 6" x 6" (15cm x 15cm) origami paper color side up.
Easy Origami Rose Step 2: Make a shawl or triangle fold and open back up.
Easy Origami Rose Step 3: Fold the right and left sides to the center crease. The end result is called a kite base.
Easy Origami Rose Step 4: Fold the right and left flap down like so.
Easy Origami Rose Step 5: Flip the paper over. Fold the bottom tip up to meet the top.
Easy Origami Rose Step 6: Fold the top half down on the dash line shown below.
Easy Origami Rose Step 7: Now make a crease on the right side and on the dash line as shown.
Easy Origami Rose Step 8: Now do the same for the left side.
Easy Origami Rose Step 9: Now fold the right side to meet the center crease. As you do so, you will notice the top part opening up. Make a squash fold there, where you had made the creases in Steps 7 & 8.
Easy Origami Rose Step 10: Now do the same for the left side.
Easy Origami Rose Step 11: Make a small mountain fold at the top at the dash line as shown.
Easy Origami Rose Step 12: Flip the paper over. The flower part is complete.

Easy Origami Rose Step 13: Use a square origami paper, color side down.
Easy Origami Rose Step 14: Make a shawl or triangle fold again and open back up.
Easy Origami Rose Step 15: Now fold both halves on the left side to meet the center crease, resulting in what's called a kite base.
Easy Origami Rose Step 16: Now fold both halves on the right side to meet the center crease, resulting in what's called a diamond base.
Easy Origami Rose Step 17: Now fold the entire paper in half.
Easy Origami Rose Step 18: One last fold....Make a fold on the dash line as shown in the pictures below.
Easy Origami Rose Step 19: Put both the flower and stalk together. Your easy origami rose is complete!
