Origami Yamaguchi Dahlia
Origami Yamaguchi dahlia is an extension of the other easy dahlia by Makoto Yamaguchi. There are more steps to this one and it's more complicated to fold. This is not a traditional origami and requires glue to connect the units together. You can fold 6 or 8 units and glue them together to form the dahlia.

Origami Yamaguchi Dahlia Step 12: Make the valley fold as indicated below.
Origami Yamaguchi Dahlia Step 13: We're almost done with the unit. Glue the 2 "triangle" areas as shown below to form the unit.
and this completes one unit.
Origami Yamaguchi Dahlia Step 14: Repeat Steps 1 to 13 and make a total of either 6 or 8 units. It looks nice with 6 units but with 8 units, you'll have a "fuller" flower.
Origami Yamaguchi Dahlia Step 15: Glue the first 2 units together as shown below.
Origami Yamaguchi Dahlia Step 16: Repeat Step 15 for the rest of the units.
With 6 units, here's the completed origami yamaguchi dahlia!
And here it is with 8 units!
