Easy Origami Tulip Folding Instructions
This easy origami tulip is perfect for beginners. Most origami flowers are not that easy so this is a great one to get your feet wet.

If you want a more realistic but more difficult origami tulip, then you should try the regular origami tulip.
For other easy origami flowers, do try easy origami sunflower and easy origami rose.
Easy Origami Tulip Step 1: Start with a square 6" x 6" (15cm x 15cm) origami paper color side down.
Easy Origami Tulip Step 2: Fold it in half along the center diagonal into a triangle.
Easy Origami Tulip Step 3: Fold the triangle in half again along the vertical center.
Easy Origami Tulip Step 4: Open it back up.
Easy Origami Tulip Step 5: Now you will fold along the dash line shown below.
Easy Origami Tulip Step 6: Now fold the left side over to the right.
Easy Origami Tulip Step 7: Now fold the tip down slightly and your tulip flower is almost complete.
Easy Origami Tulip Step 8: Now we focus on the bottom tip. Make a fold about 2 cm from the bottom tip, crease well and open back up.
Easy Origami Tulip Step 9: Now we will make an inside reverse fold. Open the paper slightly. Push and Press the tip inside - having the crease helps here. Press the paper down.
Easy Origami Tulip Step 10: And the origami tulip flower part is complete.
Now for the stem...
Easy Origami Tulip Step 11: Start with origami paper color side down. Make a fold along the center diagonal and open back up.
Easy Origami Tulip Step 12: Fold the right side towards the center crease.
Easy Origami Tulip Step 13: Now fold the left side towards the center crease.
Easy Origami Tulip Step 14: Now bring the left side over to the right, folding the entire paper in 2.
Easy Origami Tulip Step 15: Now you will make a valley fold and bring the bottom tip up approximately along the line shown below.
and that's it! Put them both together and you get your easy origami tulip!
