Easy Origami Yamaguchi Dahlia
This is an easy origami dahlia by Makoto Yamaguchi. It is not a traditional origami. You do need to glue 8 units together to form the dahlia.

Easy Origami Yamaguchi Dahlia Step 1: Start with a 3 inch x 3 inch square (75mm x 75mm) origami paper, color side down.
Fold paper in half on both diagonal axis. Crease well and unfold.
Easy Origami Yamaguchi Dahlia Step 2: Fold both tips to the center.
Easy Origami Yamaguchi Dahlia Step 3: Fold both the top and bottom halves to the center again.
Easy Origami Yamaguchi Dahlia Step 4: Flip paper over.
Fold the bottom half to the top.
Easy Origami Yamaguchi Dahlia Step 5: You now need to place some glue on the color portion of the paper. Then fold paper in half to glue it together.
And this completes one unit.
Easy Origami Yamaguchi Dahlia Step 6: Repeat Steps 1 to 5 and make a total of 8 units.
Easy Origami Yamaguchi Dahlia Step 7: Let's first glue 2 units together. Place some glue on the color portion of the paper and glue the units together.
Do NOT glue the white part of the paper.
Easy Origami Yamaguchi Dahlia Step 8: Repeat Step 7 on the rest of the units until all 8 units are glued together.
Easy Origami Yamaguchi Dahlia Step 9: Finally glue the first and last unit together so that they form a circle.
