Origami Letter A

This is a simple origami for the letter or alphabet "A". The folds themselves are easy but you do have to start by dividing the paper into fifths.

Origami Letter A Step 1: Start by dividing the paper into fifths. Since this is a useful origami technique, we've created a separate page of instructions for it.

We need 2 pieces of paper for this origami.

We used a 3 inch x 3 inch (75mm x75mm) paper for this origami. The completed origami will be about 3 inches (75mm) tall.

Origami Letter A Step 2: Fold the top and bottom fifths inward.

Origami Letter A Step 3: Make 2 vertical mountain folds as indicated below.

This completes the first unit. Set it aside for now.

Origami Letter A Step 4: Start with your next sheet of paper that's been divided into fifths.

Fold the left and right sides inwards.
