Origami Modular Square Box
This is a great origami modular square box designed by Tomoko Fuse, the queen of origami boxes. We love how this modular box comes together. The end result is not only a very useful and practical box but looks fantastic too! If you're giving someone a small present, it'd be extra special to fold your own box and place the present in it!

Origami Modular Square Box Step 1: Start with a 6 inch x 6 inch (15cm x 15cm) square paper, color side down. Make 3 folds as shown by the dotted lines below. Crease well and unfold.
Origami Modular Square Box Step 2: Fold the left tip to point A.
Origami Modular Square Box Step 3: Make a mountain fold and fold the paper in half.
Origami Modular Square Box Step 4: Fold point A (shown below) to meet point B. Creaser well and unfold.
Origami Modular Square Box Step 5: Make a mountain fold where indicated below. Crease well.
Origami Modular Square Box Step 6: Fold the paper as indicated by the dotted line below, essentially bringing the edge of the white side of the paper to meet the color side of the paper. Crease well and unfold.
Origami Modular Square Box Step 7: Unfold Step 5.
Origami Modular Square Box Step 8: Now we're going to bring point AB, shown below, to meet point AC. We're creating what will become the edges of the box so crease well.
That completes 1 modular unit. We will need 4 units to create the box.
Remember to crease well so that your box will have nice straight edges!
