See you back in a bit.......
OK, here are our 16 soldiers lined up and ready to form an origami modular star! We've used 4 different color paper, folding 4 units of each color.
So how do we join these units together without using any glue??? Well, every unit has "pockets" and "tips". The "tips" fit into the pockets and all the units are attached to each other this way.
Origami Modular Star Step 7: Starting with 2 units, fit one tip into the pocket as shown in the photo below.
Origami Modular Star Step 8: We're going to repeat what we just did in Step 7. Take another unit and fit the tip into the pocket.
Origami Modular Star Step 9: And we just keep repeating this step until we use up all our units.
Origami Modular Star Step 10: Keep attaching the units until you've used up all 16 units. Attached the 16th unit to the 1st one the same way, by inserting a tip into the pocket.
and that's it! Your 16 Point Origami Modular Star is complete!
